ADVISORY

I provide advisory services to both individual and corporate collectors to develop a collecting program for each client based on their interests, budget and goals. 

 

I offer a full range of art related services.

Consulting:

• Assist client to create a collection as specific and as unique as each individual or corporation. 

• Offer and purchase works from  regional, national, and international galleries, private dealers, unaffiliated artists' studios, and secondary market sellers.

• Suggest and select artists to commission or create site-specific artworks.

• Research artists’ exhibition history and auction records to assist clients in making educated decisions regarding the artists inclusion in their collection.

• Research provenance and verify authenticity.  

• Establish and maintain registrarial files for collectors and their insurers.

• Assist collectors and negotiate with art insurers in the event of loss. 

• Travel with clients to art destinations and fairs  to view and purchase works, build relationships with artists, private dealers, galleries, and auction houses

 

Advocacy and Collection Management:

• Advise and bid for clients at auction and assist in both the purchase and consignment process and post sale delivery of the work..

• Negotiate art purchases and sales for clients. Review and negotiate all elements of simple and complex purchase agreements.

• Negotiate and execute commission agreements with artists to create site-specific works for clients

• Organize viewings, transport insurance, customs brokerage and escrow instructions.

 

Art Investment Funds:

• Manage private art investment funds for clients solely looking to invest in art without interest in the intellectual or aesthetic pursuit but capitalize on the ever growing financial benefits of collecting art.
